A true dream machine where toy and getaway meet head to head. What a machine! The very stuff that big boys dreams are made of! Man, machine, the open track ahead and the ability to tackle almost anything to transport one to wild and lonely places! Man oh man....gotta get one of these. Rugged and beautifully engineered as only BMW can, with one of these...snowcapped mountain passes, windswept savannah plains and tropical forested dune tracks lie beckoning. Dreams can become reality!

A tropical paradise right on our doorstep in neighbouring Mocambique. Why spend a small fortune on overseas tropical beach destinations when Africa has it all? This is one of those places I've just gotta get to. By all accounts, fantastic beach...awesome snorkelling, diving and kayak fishing...amazing seafood...bring it on!



Aah Africa! Beautiful, wild, complicated and sometimes cruel...in my blood!

TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 70 STATION WAGON

My dream vehicle to visit my dream, off the beaten track, wilderness getaways. Eish! Wow! Don't have one....yet....but this is my passport to freedom and WILD, WILD PLACES! Loaded with my kayak on the roof rack, fishing and camping gear, photography equipment, food and drinks with my nearest and dearest inside it's hit the road and outa here!! BUT...the price! Ouch!! Well a guy can dream. If the reports are anything to believe, it is well nigh indestructable. (I can just hear the Landie brigade choking on their drinks!).

Well, I saw some truly awesome pics of one of these beauts towing a caravan nogal (a wonderful Afrikaans expression second to "gatvol") up Baboon Pass in the mountains of Lesotho. To describe the boulder-strewn route as a "track" would be a major overstatement!! There ain't no "track"!! And many of the boulders would hide a Mini. What a feat! Yes please....I'll have one parked in my driveway thankyou...anytime.

FLUID SYNERGY: AWESOME KAYAK

A proudly South African product. Great versatility and equally at home on dams, rivers and the ocean. Very stable and durable. I personally use mine for off-shore fishing and continue to dream of that big game fish! The only drawback for fishing is the absence of a long fish storage hatch. Outstanding platform for snorkelling over reefs and for water borne trails and tours. A great buy!
